The Hoover Metropolitan Complex, located in Hoover, Alabama, is a world-class sports tourism and community sports complex managed by The Sports Facilities Companies. This large, multi-use complex boasts a state-of-the-art 155,000 square foot indoor sports facility called the Finley Center. The Complex also includes the Hoover Met Stadium, five NCAA regulation-size soccer/football/lacrosse fields (can be converted to 10 youth fields), five NCAA regulation-size baseball/softball fields (four with artificial turf, one with natural grass), 16 tennis courts with pro shop, a two-mile walking track, a disability inclusive playground, a splash pad, and a large event lawn. It also has an existing RV park that will expand from 149 to 172 spaces with full hook-ups. Additional parking will provide approximately 5,000 on-site spaces.

The Finley Center is multi-use and capable of hosting a variety of functions and sporting activities. The facility can accommodate 11 regulation-size basketball courts or 17 regulation-size volleyball courts, trade shows with 300 booths, or 2,400-seat banquets and theater-style seating for 5,000. Space within the center can be divided, allowing multiple activities to take place at the same time. The Finley Center includes a suspended walking track, basketball, volleyball, and pickleball courts, performance center, food court, convenience store, locker rooms, flexible meeting space, and clip ‘n climb attraction.

It was home of the Birmingham Barons of the Southern League from 1988 to 2012, replacing historic Rickwood Field in Birmingham. The stadium also serves as the home for the SEC baseball tournament, as well as the primary home for Hoover High School football. It is located in the Birmingham-Hoover Metropolitan Area near Interstate 459 at Exit 10 just off Alabama State Route 150. The stadium is located three miles from the Riverchase Galleria, one of the south’s largest shopping centers. Its seating capacity is 10,800 for baseball and can accommodate up to 16,000 when the patio, banquet, and grassy side areas are used. The stadium also houses 12 suites and state-of-the-art dressing and training rooms.
